About Us

Welcome to the Bradley Paradox! You may be curious about our rather odd name. So, what is the Bradley Paradox? Our last name is Bradley, so that part makes sense, but why “paradox”? Both Brandon and Sheri hold doctorates in ministry, so a former co-worker said we were a paradox . . . or, more accurately, a “pair of docs.” It may be a little corny, but we have embraced it! We plan for this website to be a place where we can share reflections and resources as we follow Jesus and share the journey together, as we invite others to follow along with us.

Here is a little more about each of us…

Sheri Bradley – My ministerial experience, education, and interests are in worship, women in ministry, music, spiritual formation, and the Psalms. I will share blog posts, books, and videos dedicated to these (and maybe a few other) topics. The most exciting thing right now is the release of my new book, Valued by God, which provides biblical, historical, and theological evidence supporting the value of women’s voices to the church.

Brandon Bradley—I find the idea of regularly writing on a blog a bit of a paradox. While I have long desired to write, the commitment to the task of writing, all of the effort and commitment needed, seems very unlike me. Much has changed, though. We are not approaching this alone but as a team (like everything in life and ministry). Sheri is more of a natural writer, but seeing her dive into her work motivates me not only to support her in the task of writing but to share what God has laid on my heart as well. My interests include spiritual formation, discipleship, leadership, preaching, books I’m reading, running, and more. I guess that is part of the Bradley Paradox: while blog experts say a website should be about one thing, we are creating a place that is about the many things God is allowing us to experience together.

Brandon and Sheri have been married since 2022, and they currently live in Brownsburg, IN. Between them, they have six adult children, one grandchild, four graduate or post-graduate degrees, and one book.
